Confirmation Signed by Rabbi Baruch Avraham Toledano - Meknes, 1958 - Document of the Beit Din of Meknes from 1958. Handwritten and apparently signed by the witnesses, At its end, the document is confirmed by the Av Beit Din the Gaon Rabbi Baruch Avraham Toledano.  Stains. Fold lines. Good overall condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Baruch Avraham Toledano (1890-1982) Dayan) and Posek Halacha in Meknes, Morocco. He was the son of Rabbi Avraham, who was the son of Rabbi Shmuel, a descendant of the Toledano family, a family of rabbis and Torah scholars from the Spanish exiles, originally from the city of Toledo. In his youth, he studied Torah under Rabbi Chaim Berdugo, the head of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva, and Rabbi Chaim Messas. In 1941, he was appointed as a Dayan of the Beit Din of Meknes, replacing Rabbi Yehoshua Berdugo. He served in this position with his relative Rabbi Raphael Baruch Toledano and with Rabbi Yosef Messas. In his old age, he immigrated to Israel and settled in the city of Haifa. He wrote many books, including Shut Sha'alu LeBaruch, Baruch Ta'am,   Vaya'as Baruch and many more. His son is Rabbi Pinchas Toledano, Rav and Av Beit Din of the Sephardic community of London.
