The Gaon author Rabbi Yitzchak Lupis authored the work in 1695. 150 years later, in 1847, the book was printed in Metz, when public debates between Jews and Christians were less common due to the general diminished power of the Church in Europe.  Appearing on the title page and flyleaves are many foreign stamps of Amram Darmon of Oran, a Jewish French officer who ruled Algiers in those days.  [5], 108 leaves. Including the rare cover-title/ 8 leaves at the end are missing.  No back board. Moth damage. Fair-good condition.
