Single Edition of Chanukkat Habayit - the Form of the Temple and Its Vessels - with Many Illustrations - Venice, 1696 incomplete copy - A fine, unique item - Sefer Chanukkat Habayit - ”ביאור צורות ותבנית הבית הנחרב בכל משפטו”  [elucidating the form of the destroyed Temple] - with many engravings and illustrations - by Rabbi Moshe ben Gershom Chefetz - Bragadin Press - Venice, 1696 - single edition - incomplete copy.  An especially fine book and one of the first that dealt with the form of the Temple. The book is accompanied by many artiostic illustrations and engravings. A took for understanding this complex issue. It is obvious that the book was printed in two stages: first the content was printed and then the many engravings were added.  Originally: [4], 52 leaves + [1] folding leaf. In this copy, leaves 1, 29-32, 41-44 are missing (were completed with a photocopy and bound with the book). The folding leaf with the map is also missing. Leaves 2 and 3 are blemished, affecting the text.  New binding. Very good condition.
