Kengthy Handwritten Glosses: First Edition of Sefer Shema Yaakov - Lick, 1860 - Sefer Shema Yaakov - Chidushei Halachah, Aggadah and Drushim - by the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Dayan and Maggid Meisharim of Novhardok - Lick, 1860 - first edition.  Bound with the first edition of Te'omei Tzviya - Drushim - by the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Bloch - Konigsberg, 1861.  Appearing on the leaves are many handwritten glosses, including some lengthy one3s. The glosses refer to famed Drush books such as Afikei Yam by Rabbi Isaac Chaver, Divrei Chaim (not by the Admor of Sanz), Etz Chaim, Torah HaOlah, Ginat Egoz and more. These indicate the writer was a leading contemporary Baal Drush.  [7], 81, [1] leaves; 10 pp; 72 leaves. Leaves 69-70 of the last pagination are missing.  New binding. Wear. Tears affecting the text. Stains. Fair condition.
