Sefer Kol Boh - Edition with Additions Furth, 1782 - Sefer Kol Boh,   ”מבואר על כי שמו בקרבו והוא ספר כלילת יופי לא יחסר בו שום שמץ ודופי”. A foundational book of Psikah by an early Gaon from the period of the Rishonim whose identity is unknown. The book contains approx. a hundred and fifty passages dealing with blessings, prayers, customs of Sabbath and the Jewish festivals and Moadim, marriage, monetary issues, Hilchot Mazon and the customs of mourning. The book also contains one of the earliest elucidations of the Passover Haggadah.  The book contains many Likutim from the Torah of the Geonim and Rishonim and frequently, these are the only source of their words since their writings have been lost and were never printed. The book is referred to frequently by the Beit Yosef, Shulchan Aruch and the Rema. An edition with additions, a foreword and indices by Rabbi Meir ben Rabbi Eliezer of  Nairn. Printed by Rabbi Itzik ben Rabbi David Tz.R. Furth, 1782. 5, [1], 99, 17 leaves. 33 cm. Old contemporary binding with a leather spine - slightly blemished. Usage stains. Some moth perforations. Good overall condition.. Signatures and stamps:  ~ ”אברהם גרשון מארגענשטערן מלאדז” - Rabbi Avraham Gershon Morgenstern of Lodz, the son of Rabbi Yehuda Leibush, the son=in=law of Rabbi Yehonatan of Proshnitz the granson of the Maharal Tzintz. This Rabbi Avraham Gershon printed, from his in-law's library, the Maharal Tzintz' book Miktzo'a BaTorah.  ~ ”זוסמן יעבץ ” - Rabbi Sussman Yavetz (d. 1881) a Talmid Chacham and wealthy man, one of the leading contemporary Negidim of Poland who was an important supporter of the Torah of Warsaw. The father of the famed writer and historian Rabbi Zeev Yavetz.  Stamps:  ”יהודא ארי' פייוויש לודז”.
