Sha'ar Haparnasah - Sefer Derech Yesharah - Segulot and Refu'ot, Prayers and Hanhagot - Livorno, 1788 - in an Ancient Magnificent Leather Binding - Sefer Derech Yesharah - Segulot and Refu'ot, Prayers and Hanhagot - by Reb Reuven ben Avraham of Ishtipi - the Press of Avraham Yitzchak Castello and Eliezer Sadon - Livorno, 1788. The book contains several chapters on how a man should behave during the prayer, Torah, negotiation and more and a chapter on Segulot, introducing original and interesting ones such as a Segulah for finding something that was stolen, an amulet against a plague, Segulah for the invisible, against lice and more: ”סגולה למצוא אבדתו לידע הגנב”, ”קמיע למגפה”, ”סגולה... לרואה ואינו נראה” (!!), ”סגולה להמית הכנים בכל מקום שהם” ועוד סגולות רבות לרפואה וכו'. An additional chapter is dedicated to Parnasah with varied prayers and Segulot for an abundance of blessing and success.   The book is bound in an ancient magnificent green leather binding with gilt decorations and a gilt embossment of the owner's name: ”הצעיר מרדכי חיים אשכנזי הי”ו 5640”  [5], 136 leaves.  Detached binding.
