Rare! Chochmat Hayad with an Addition of an Ashkenazic Ekucidation with the Illustration of the Palm - Konigsberg, 1858 - Important Signature - Sefer Chochmat Hayad ”and the wisdom of the face, the hair, the tendons, the fingernails in Hebrew and the language of Ashkenaz copied by Ish Eliyahu Moshe [!] Gaklino” - apparently printed in Konigsberg - 1858.  The author: Rabbi Moshe ben Eliyahu Galino. This is a compilation with stylish variations from his book Toldot Adam, Kushta 1515, from the Zohar, the famed book on Chochmat Hayad, Shoshanat Yaakov, and from the books by King Solomon.  On verso of the title page, a fine illustration of the right palm.  On the last leaf, an owner's notaton indicating the book had belonged to a woman named Eidel Friedlander, the wife of th eRav and Moreh Tzeddek of Borisov.  Rare! Bound with a Yiddish book of Segulot (incomplete).  16 leaves.  Stains. Some moth. Good condition.
