Early and Rare Edition of the Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat - Juan de Gara - Venice, 1594 - Shulchan Aruch Choshen Mishpat - by Maran Rabbi Yosef Karo with Hagahot HaRema - Juan de Gara Press - Venice, 1594 - the first time a complete copy is auctioned! An Uvelechtecha Baderech edition ”a small volume to be carried and studied at any time and place”.  Although the book was printed by Juan di Gara, appearing on the title page are the three famed crowns, the logo of the printer Bragadin.  At the end of the volume there are two leaves - indices and a poem by the editor Reb Hoshe'a Tzividal, with a colophon at their end: ”ושתלם [צ”ל: ותשלם] מלאכת הקדש היום יום י'ה'י' [כה] ה' אלקינו עמנו, לחדש שבט שנת ש'מ'ח'ו' בה' לפ”ק” . Extremely rare! Has been auctioned only once before and then it was an incomplete copy.  242, [2] leaves.  New leather binding. Stains and some moth damage. Good condition.
