Machzor Kavanat Hapaytan - Offenbach, 1803 - Original Binding with a Gilt Embossment of the Owner's Name - Machzor Kavanat Hapaytan for the first and second day of Shavu'ot - with a Hebrew commentary and the Yiddish Kavanat hapaytan commentary - the Press of Reb Zvi Hirsch and his son Avraham Segal Spitz - Offenbach, 1803.  On the original binding there is a gilt embossment of the owner's name: ”מעדלה אשת הירש גונדרשהיים”. On the title page of the book, an owner's signature: ”הירש בן כ”ה איצק גונדרשהיים”. The Gundersheim family is an important and pedigreed Ashkenazic family.  129, 8 leaves.  Original binding, without a spine. Moth damage to the inner margins of the last leaves. Good condiiton.
