Oil Painting of the Portrait of Maran the Baal Shem Tov - Israel, the 20th Century - Oil painting on Masonite depicting the portrait that is attributed to Rabbeinu Yisrael Baal Shem Tov.  Fine work that was apprantly done in Israel in the 1950s.  An inscription on the lower part of the painting:  ”ישראל בעל שם טוב”. The artist's signature:  ”פ. ש”. Placed in an old frame. Not studied outside the frame.  Size of frame: 37X27 cm.  Size of painting approx. 22.5X17 cm.  Cracks and minor blemishes to frame. Stains. Good overall condition.
