Tanya ”Mazkeret from the Month of Tishrei” - Asseret Yemei Teshuvah, Tishrei 1978 - From an Edition - Sefer HaTanya Kaddisha, published by Kehat Brooklyn ”Asseret Yemei Teshuvah 1978”, a special edition printed by the Rebbe's instruction. Tanya of the famed edition that was handed out by the Rebbe with his handwritten signature (see item 67 of this auction). This is a copy without the Rebbe's signature, yet of the same edition.  Original binding with a detached spine and stains. Good overall condiiton.  The Chalukah At the end of Tishrei 1978, during the Yechiduyot for guests, the Rebbe instructed to approach the secretariat to receive a ”מזכרת מחודש תשרי” [Souvenir from the month of Tishrei] Tanya - to the men and Siddur Tehillat Hashem - to the women, saying: ”ימלא הקב”ה משאלות לבבכם. תכנסו למזכירות לקחת תניא בתור מזכרת מחודש תשרי, שנדפס בברוקלין, ותלמדו בו” [May Hakadosh Baruch Huh fulfill the desires of your hearts. Please go to the secretariat to take a Tanya as a souvenir from the month of Tishrei, which was printed in Brooklyn, and study from it]. To the women and girls, he said: ”סידור שתתפללו בו” [a Siddur to pray from]. ”A special fondness was known for these books, as his handwritten signature is displayed upon them - on the Tanya at its end, and on the Siddur at its beginning (Mazkeret Netzach p. 7) - as stated, this is a copy without the Rebbe's signature! It is appropriate to introduce two things - from the many others - that the Rebbe said when he instructed people to approach the secretariat to receive a Tanya. To one of those who entered the Rebbe said: ”When you study this Tanya, you shall make the right decision” and to another, he said: ”When you study this Tanya, all blessings shall be fulfilled” .
