Historical Letter Signed by Israeli Chabadic Rabbis about the Struggle Over the Tochelet Settlement - Tamuz, 1966 - Special and rare historical letter, signed by Israeli Chabadic Rabbis about the annexation of the Tochelet settlement to Kfar Chabad. This was a struggle that lasted several years over the settlement which was adjacent to Kfar Chabad and which was to be integrated, along with its residents and institutions, into the Kfar. In this letter, the Chabad Rabbis note the reasons for their objection, including, among others, the potential spiritual damage that might be caused as a result. The struggle concluded eventually when only the land was annexed to the village without its residents, and upon it were built the Levi Yitzchak neighborhood and the renowned Beit 770 at the entrance to the village.
