Addiiton of a Word and Corrections Handwritten by the Rebbe on a Copy of a Letter on Educational Matters - Tammuz 1961 - Copy of a letter that was sent by the Rebbe, typewritten, from Tammuz 6, 1961. At the top of the letter, the Rebbe wrote in pencil: ”העתקה” [copying] (apparently, this copy was sent to the management of the yeshiva so they could see the Rebbe's instruction on the matter).  The Rebbe writes to the addressee in response to his letter about a boy and his educational institution: ”ובהנוגע למקום לימודו ידבר עוד הפעם עם הנהלת המוסד, שלא רק טובת המוסד הם דורשים אלא גם טובת בנו (here the Rebbe corrected to the pulral ”הבנים”) שי' כמובן, והרי באם אין במוסד כתה מתאימה להנער, הרי זוהי היפך טובת הנער להתקבל שם כמובן, לכן קשה לחוות דיעה להחליט בריחוק מקום מבלי ידיעת כל הפרטים בזה. ומוכן [=ומובן] שיכול לומר שפונה עוד הפעם ע”פ הצעה מכאן”. At the end of the letter, the Rebbe's blessing: ”ברכה לבשו”ט [לבשורות טובות] בענינים הכללים והפרטים גם יחד”. The letter contains an additional handwritten correction.  [1] leaf. Approx. 21.5X17 cm.
