Kuntres Ma'amar Ushe'avtem Mayim Besasson with a General Letter and. Dollar Given Directly by the Rebbe -Tishrei 1989 - Kuntres Maamar Ushe'avtem Mayim Besasson by the Tzemach Tzeddek, published by Kehat in 1989. with a general Letter and USA Dollar given directly by the Rebbe. Red binding, Good overall condition. On the bill, the inscription: ”מיד כ”ק אדמו”ר שליט”א” [by the Admor Shlita]. The Auction House does not know the recipient's name. The item was delivered by a Chabad Chassid who gave us the information he knew of and are described here.   At the beginning of Tishrei 1989, the Rebbe instructed to publish for the first time a special edition with a celebratory (red) binding of the Maamar Ushe'avtem... by the Admor Tzemach Tzeddek. On the night of the 6th of Tishrei, after Maariv, the Rebbe handed out to each of those attending a yellow envelope with this Maamar inside, a piece of Lekach and a general letter from him and a $1 bill for charity. Approx. ten thousand people attende the Chalukah.   After Maariv, the Admor went to his special stender and gave a Sicha, longer than usual (around 30 minutes), dedicated to his mother, the Rebbetzin Chana Schneerson, to mark her 25th Yahrzeit. At the end of the Sicha he came down from the Bimah and started the special Chaluka: each person received a brown-waxy envelope containing: the new Maamar by the Admor Tzemach Tzeddek, a piece of Lekach, and a general letter from him and a $1 bill for charity For hours the Admor stood, after having spent an entire day at the Ohel, handing out to each and every person (man, woman, and child), the special envelope, blessing each of them who had come from near and far with ”(האב) א זיסע יאר”, or Have a Sweet Year. The Chaluka lasted approx. four and a half hours!  At the end of the Chaluka, the Admor left with a special look in his eye, and encouraged the Kahal to sing strongly with movements of his hand (from: Mazeret Netzach Chalukot Chabad).
