Letter by the Rebbe with a Blessing for a Shiduch - Tevet 1975 - Letter by the Rebbe, typewritten on official stationery from Tevet 19, 1975, addressed to the Meshudechet's father.  ”במענה למכתבו ע”ד [על דבר] הצעת הנכבדות וכו', באם החליטו שניהם בתו... והמדובר שי' לייסד ביתם על יסודי התורה והמצוה בחיי היום יומים, יהי רצון שתהא בשעה טובה ומוצלחת ולבנין בית בישראל בנין עדי עד בברכה - the Rebbe's handwritten signature. [In reply to his letter regarding the honorable proposal etc., If both of them have decided his daughter... and the intended groom to establish their home upon the foundations of the Torah and Mitzvah in their daily lives, May it be that it be Be'Sha'ah Tovah U'Mutzlachat and for the building of a Jewish home that lasts forever]. It is interesting to note that this version of the Rebbe's stipulation before the blessing was sometimes used in a letter that was sent before the parties met and sometimes as an emphasis that they should decide to build their home on the foundations of Torah and Yirah.  Aerogram.
