Derech Mitzvotecha Section II Peirush Hamilot Batfillah by the Admor the Tzemach Tzeddek - First Edition Poltava, 1912 - Sefer Derech Mitzvotecha Section II, ”which Sefer Peirush Hamilot Batfillah and other precious Kuntresim...from a manuscript by Marana Rabbi Menachem Mendel author of the Tzemach Tzeddek books...”. First edition printed by Rabbi Eliyahu Akiva Rabinovich in Poltava, 1912. [1], 201-316, [2] leaves. Stains and minor blemishes. Original binding with wear. Good overall condition. About this book, the Rebbe writes (in his foreword to the Brooklyn 1953 edition): ”It is unclear why the publisher titled the book section II of Sefer Derech Mitzvotecha, when the Tzemach Tzeddek titled it Peirush Hamilot Batfillah, as the publisher wrote in his foreword there and the content of the book has nothing to do with Sefer Derech Mitzvotecha”.  This book has 49 chapters dealing with a Kabbalistic and Chassidic commentary on the prayer and Keriat Shema. The Admor the Tzemach Tzeddek wrote this section in the lifetime of his grandfather, the Admor Hazaken. When the Tzemach Tzeddek's wife gave the writings to the Admor Hazaken without her husband's consent, he sued her in the Admor Hazaken's rabbinical court (Din Torah) and was reconciled only when his grandfather set up a new Chavruta with him.
