Extremely Rare Sefer Chassidut! Imrei Emet by the Rav of Orzishtsheb a Descendant of Rav Yeivi - First Edition Berditchev, 1896 - Sefer Imrei Emet, ”on Chamisha Chumshei Torah, Imrot Tehorot... by Rabbeinu Ner Yisrael the Tzaddik Rav... Rabbi Elyakim Getz, Maggid Meisharim of Orzishtsheb and Kazen... the son of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Maggid Meisharim of Orzishtsheb”. First edition printed by Rabbi Chaim Yaakov Sheftel, Berditchev, 1896. 104 leaves. Stains. Other minor blemishes. Original binding with a new fabric spine. Good overall condition.  Extremely rare Sefer Chassidut, which was auctioned only once before. This copy is in wonderful condition.  The author Rabbi Elyakim Getz the Rav of Orzishtsheb and Kazen (d. 1895) the son of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Maggid Meisharim of Orzishtsheb who was a direct descendant of Rabbi Yaakov Yosef of Ostroh, Rav Yeivi, who was one of the first Chassidic rabbis. Rabbi Elyakim was the son-in-law of Rabbi Chaim Weingarten of Yanov-Lubashov, a descendant of the Maggid of Zlotchov. After Rabbeinu the author's passing, he was succeeded as Rav of Orzishtsheb by his son, Rabbi Yaakov Yosef the brother-n-law of the Maharid of Belz.
