In his book, he introduces things in the name of his leading Rav and it is one of the first books introducing the Torah of the Ari. Third edition in the lifetime of the author, whose work became a Sefer Yesod on Masechet Avot and already in his lifetime was published three times! Daneil Zenati Press, Venice, 1600.  251, [1]; [8] leaves. The last 8 leaves are mispaginated and include the indices leaves for the Bible and Mishnayot.  There are several estimates as to the year of printing. According to some, it was printed in 1605, which is impossible since the author's name on the title page is with the title ”נר”ו” indicating he was still alive, having passed away in 1604. It should also be noted that the year 1600 appears clearly on the colophon: ”נדפס שלישית... בחדש סיון שנת הש”ס” and on the title page: ”בשנת ולא קם נביא כ'מ'ש'ה' ליצירה” - ה' אלפים ש”ס. Rare copy with all the indices leaves which have never been seen! Written on the title page: ”עם סימני המשניות מכל פרק ופרק ומפתחות הפרקים והמשניות הוספנו לבסוף כדי שבנקל ימצא המעיין מבוקשו. והוגה בעיון נמרץ ע”י החכם כמה”ר משה אלפאלאס נר”ו” [with the Simanim of the Mishnayot of each chapter and the indices of the chapters and Mishnayot we have added at the end for the convinience of the reader. Edited by the sage Rabbi Moshe Alpalas]. Despite what is written on the title page, the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book notes that in the copy they have seen, these indices were not found. In the copy of the National Library there are also only 4 leaves and it is noted that the 4 last leaves include the indices referred to by the title page and they are mispaginated. In this copy, there are 8 indices leaves which have not been bibliographically recorded until now! Ownership notations, a lengthy handwritten gloss on the margins of one of the leaves and small additional corrections in several places - not studied.  Fine copy in a fine, ancient leather binding. Some moth perforations. Stains. Minor taping to several leaves. Good overall condition.
