Kedosh Yisrael: Letter of Askanut and Chessed Hand-Signed by the Admor Rabbi Yisrael of Husiatyn - Tel Aviv, 1943 - שרפים עומדים ממעל לו - letter with the handwritten signature of the Admor Tzaddik Yesod Olam Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn - about his nephew, Rabbi Yisrael Shapira, the son of the Admor Rabbi Chaim Meir Yechiel of Drohobych - Tel Aviv, 1943.  Rabbeinu appeals to the addressee to become involved in the matter of Rabbi Yisrael Sgapira, the son of his brother-in-law the Admor Rabbi Chaim Meir Yechiel of Drohobych. The aforementioned Rabbi Yisrael used to wark at the HaMizrachi Bank, which was founded by the members of HaMizrachi before the establishment of the State. Rabbeinu asks the addressee to remember the work of Rabbi Yisrael's father for the settlement of Eretz Yisrael and reconsider the decision to fire him. He also mentions that this is Rabbi Chaim Meir's youngest son, who is not married: ”בנו הנ”ל הוא בן זקוניו והוא לא זכה להכניסו לחופה בחייו... ויזכרו נא לו חסדי אביו זצ”ל ואל יקחו ממנו את משען פרנסתו בשעה איומה כזאת...”. Letters by the Heiliger Husiatyner are rare and almost unattainable!!! 21X27 cm.  Filing perforations. Fold lines. Good condition.  *** The famed Admor Rabbi Yisrael Friedman of Husiatyn (1858-1949) one of the leading Admorim of Eretz Yisrael in the period of the Holocaust. He and the Admor Rabbi Shlomkeh of Zvhil rescued the Jewish Yishuv by their prayers at the Tziyun of the Or Hachaim Hakadosh. Both Admorim were the Rebbes of the Rebbes - since all contemporary Gedolei Yisrael were anxious to hear what they had to say. Rabbi Yisrael was the eldest son of the Admor Rabbi Mordechai Sheraga Feibush of Husiatyn, the youngest son of the Saba Kaddisha of Ruzhin. By his first marriage, Rabbi Yisrael was the son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Avi Zelig Shapira of Moglanitza, the son-in-law of his uncle the Admor Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura. By his second marriage, he was the son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Chaim Hager of Antania.
