”Since He is a Great and Important Man” Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Gaon Author of the Devar Avraham of Kovno about the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Steinman - 1925 - ”It is appropriate to bring him close and respect him” - letter of recommendation by the famed gaon Rabbi Avraham Dober Kahana Shapira, the author of the Devar Avraham of Kovno - about the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Steinman, the first Rav of Rechovot - Kovno, 1925. The Devar Avraham addresses his letter to the members of the HaMizrachi Movement in Eretz Yisrae; with a request to help the Gaon Rav Rabbi Svi Hirsch Steinman - in those days, the Rav of Gorky, Russia. In Eretz Yisrael, Rav Steinman served as the Rav of Yavniel and later as the first Rav of Rechovot.
