Unique and Rare Letter of Recommendation to the Grandson of the Baal Shem Tov and Moharan with the Handwritten Signature of the Pillars of Breslov - Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Bender, Rabbi Eliyahu Chaim Ruzhin and Rabbi Elchonon Spektor - Jerusalem, 1953 - ”Grandson of Moharan and the Baal Shem Tov” - unique letter of recommendation - with the handwritten signatures of leading contemporary Breslov Chassidim - Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Bender, Rabbi Eliyahu Chaim Ruzhin and Rabbi Elchonon Spektor - Jerusalem, 1953.  In their letter, the Chassidim ask the addressee to stand beside their friend who was marrying off his son. They note his pedigree as the grandson of Moharan and the Baal Shem Tov: ”ואחד מקבוצנו... נכד מוהר”ן זצ”ל והבעש”ט זצ”ל.. ולעזור לו בעזר ממשי כראוי לאיש מכובד וגזע קודש כנ”ל” . The Chassidim bless the philanthropist, the addressee of their letter, referring to Moharan's books: ”ובודאי יצמח מזה ישועות ונחמות בכלל ובפרט כמבואר בכל ספרי מוהר”ן זצ”ל, בספר חיי מוהר”ן את גודל השגתו ובספר המדות אות צדיק סי' קע”ח וכן בספר פרפראות לחכמה על התורה ד' חלק א' עיי”ש...”. Breslov of the 1950s  -  A small city with few people within it. Yet among those few, there moved 'lions' who walked along the waysides; and the more their stature reached the heights of heaven, the more they humbled themselves, regarding themselves as naught and absolute nothingness. These were Chassidim who could have been Rebbes to thousands, yet chose instead to cling to the Tzaddik and fulfill his guidance and leadership. 14X18 cm.  Filing perforations. Good condition.
