The Rebbe Rabbi Moshe Leib, the Admor Rabbi Moshe Leib of Sassov (1745-1807) one of the leading Admorim of all generations. Was a leading disicple of Rabbi Shmuel Shmelke of Nikolsburg, who took his to his Rav the Maggid of Mezeritch. His disicples included Gedolei Olam and Me'orei Hador , among them: Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov, Rabbi Meir of Premishlan, Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Kosov, the Yehudi Hakadosh of Peshischa and more. Was known among his Chassidim as Ohev Yisrael since he devoted himself to the Mitzvah of Pidyon Shvuyim, Gemilut Chassadim and the love of all Yisrael.
