Addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Botchko and His Wife - 1932 - It is truly a matter of Piku'ach Nefesh - letter handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky - with a lengthy addition handwritten by his wife the Rebbetzin Yache, the daughter of the Gaon Rabbi Meir Atlas - addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Botchko, the Rosh yeshiva of Monterey and his wife the Rebetzin Rivkah of the Sternbuch family - Vilna, 1932.  In his letter, Rabbi Chaim Ozer asks about the health of Rabbi Eliyahu's wife, who had fallen and needed continuous medical care. He blesses her that G-d heal and strengthen her: ”ות”ל על חסדיו המרובים, כן יחלימה ויחזקה...” . Later in the letter, Rabbi Chaim Ozer tells him about an Avrech who was forced to leave Poland and move to Switzerland and about another Avrech, whom he recommends to accept as a Ram of the Monterey Yeshiva. At the end of the letter, he asks him to support the Jews of Russia: ”לאחינו המעונים והנדכאים וביחוד להרבנים והשוחטים שומרי משמרת הקדש שם...”. Beneath his words, the pious Rebbetzin Yache Grodzinsky wrote a lengthy letter in Yiddish addressed to Rabbi Eliyahu's wife - handwritten and signed by her.  To the best of our knowledge, a letter by Maran alongside a letter by his wife the Rebbetzin has never been auctioned!!!
