Interesting Responsum about the Custom of Saying Tashlich Handwritten by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef - Awe-Inspiring Geonut and Knowledge! - Lengthy and practical responsum - about saying Tashlich on Rosh Hshanah that occurs on Sabbath - handwritten by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Ovadya Yosef -  the Roshon LeZion and leader of Eastern Jewry for dozens of years - with references to the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Shlita - Jerusalem, ca. 1970s.  Maran wrote his responsum in answer to the question whether it was permitted to say Tashlich on Rosh Hashanah that occurs on Sabbath. At its beginning, Maran reviews the sources of the custom in the Talmud, the Mekubalim and Sifrei Minhagim. Then he discusses the question, with much Pilpul, citing dozens of Rishonim and Acharonim, Sephardic and Ashkenazic, demonstrating his vast knowledge and Geonut!!! At the end of the responsum, Maran cites the book Moadim Uzmanim by the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Sternbuch Shlita, yet disagrees with him. Actually, Maran instructs to say the Tashlich on the second day of Rosh Hashanah for fear of Tiltul of the Machzor in Reshut Harabim.  Stationery with an official logo.  Two leaves, two pages.  47 lines handwritten by Maran in his pearly script.  On the second leaf, an additional segment of paper is mounted - originally by Maran. Good overall condition.
