Extremely Rare! First Edition of Likkutei Tehillim Known Today as Tehillim HaChida which is a Segulah for Refu'ah and Yehshu'ah - Willhelmsdorf, 1717 - Sefer Likkutei Tehillim, alphabetized, חושו ואל תחוסו על כספיכם” וה' ברחמיו ימלא חסרונכם, וימלא בקשתכם, וינוח ברכה בבתיכם, אמן”. The book is known today as Tehillim HaChida. Published by Yehuda Leib, the son of Rabbi Moshe Shlomo of Dreznitz and Yehonatan ben Rabbi Yitzchak Winkler of Nikolsburg - the press of Hirsch ben Chaim of Furth. Willhelmsdorf, 1717 - first edition.  In their foreword, the publishers write that anyone who has troubles should gather ten decent men and they should read the Psalms by the letters making up that man's name, which is a great Segulah to be rescued from any trouble: ”והיא סגולה גדולה מאד להנצל מכל צרה וצוקה...”. According to the Yiddish foreword, this is a tried and true Segulah since expressing gratitude to G-d always helps overcome hardships.  This book is known as Tehillim HaChida, based on the words of Maran the Chida in his book Sansan LeYair letter 11:  ”דברים המועילים לרפואה בס”ד, א. ייחד עשרה אנשים שיתענו ויקראו התהלים בנעימה לרפואתו. ב. ילמדו פסוקי התהלים מאותיות שמו מספר לקוטי תהלים...” [things that are beneficial for Refu'ah 1. gather ten men to fast and read Tehillim for his good health. 2. study Psalms making up his the letters of his name from Sefer Likkutei Tehilim...].  Although Rabbeinu himself refers to the book, which was printed before his time, as Likkutei Tehillim, it is known as Tehillim HaChida.  Rabbi Chaim Palachi in his book Refu;ah Vechaim chapter 1 end of Siman Katan 6, also states that reading from the book is a Segulah for Refu'ah: ”יאמרו מפסוקי תהלים... והם מסודרים בספר לקוטי תהלים... כי היא סגולה להעלות לו ארוכה ושב ורפא לו”. Extremely rare! [3], 82 [i.e. 83], [2] leaves. Leaves 79-82 are missing - the 5 missing leaves were completed with a professional photocopy.  Worn binding with a new leather spine. Professional restorations to the first and last leaves. Good condition.
