Rare Original Broadside against HaEidah HaChareidit Issued by the Party of Rav Kook - Jerusalem, 1921 - Beirur Devarim! - printed broadside issued by the City Committee of the Ashkenazic communities of Jerusalem - against HaEidah HaChareidit and Rabbi Reuven Shlomo Jungreis, following a fundraiser for the Kupat Harabbanim - with the printed signature of Rav Kook, Rabbi Zvi Pesach Frank and Rabbi Lipman David Shuvaks, with the original stamps of the Beit Din - Jerusalem, 1921. These were the days at the height of the controversy between the Chief Rabbinate and the party of Maran Rav Kook, and the Eidah HaChareidit and the followers of the Gaon Av Beit Din Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. The broadside is signed by Rav Kook and his Beit Din, expressing a protest against Rabbi Reuven Shlomo Jungreis, who was the chief activist of the Eidah HaChareidit at the time and the one who navigated its campaigns, battles, and the building of its institutions. Among his various activities, Rabbi Jungreis established a fund to finance the rabbis of the Eidah HaChareidit, who naturally received no budget from the national institutions. This fund relied on fundraising appeals abroad and various efforts to secure financing for the community's rabbis. In their letter, the Rabbis protest against Rabbi Jungreis regarding the unauthorized use of the name 'The City Committee of the Ashkenazic communities' (Vaad Ha'Ir LeKehillot HaAshkenazim), along with other claims asserting that Rabbi Jungreis is forbidden from raising funds abroad for this purpose.  Extremely rare!
