Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Admor Rabbi David of Rachmastrivka on behalf of His Father the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum - Jerusalem, 1932 - Unique letter handwritten and signed by the Admor Rabbi David of Rachmastrivka on behalf of his father the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum - addressed to the Chayei Olam Yeshiva - Jerusalem, 1932.  In his letter, the Admor requests to pray for the philanthropist Reb Moshe Heilperin of Philadelphia and say a Mi Shebeirach for him on the upcoming Sabbath since it is his and his wife's Silver Wedding: ”כי ביום הזה הוא חוגג את חתונת הכסף שלו עם רעיתו ברכה תי', ולזאת הוא מבקש לברכו שיאריך ימים טובים עם רעיתו הנ”ל... בשם אדמו”ר מנחם נחום שליט”א, אחד מאנשי ביתו דוד...”.  Stamp of Rabbi Menachem Nachum.  [1] leaf. 22.5X21.5 cm. Filing holes and fold lines. Stains.  *** The Admor Rabbi David ben Rabbi Menachem Nachum Twersky of Rachmastrivka (1872-1951), the son and successor of the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum. He was son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel Twersky of Skvira and father of Admor Rabbi Yochanan Twersky. His great-grandson, the current Admor of Rachmastrivka, was named after him. He served as Admor in Jerusalem together with his brother Rabbi Avraham Dov: they ran joint Tisches, and official documents noted that the Chassidut was “led jointly by the Admorim”. His father said of him that he was a Lamdan and Chacham and Gutter Yid . He is buried in Sanhedriya cemetery, Jerusalem.
