Letter Handwritten and Signed by the Admor Rabbi David of Rachmastrivka with the Signature of His Brother the Admor Rabbi Avraham Dov - on Their Joint Stationery!!! - Jerusalem, 1941 - ”לחלצם למרחב מכל מצוקותיהם” - letter of blessing - by the brothers of the Rachmastrivka Chassidut - the letter is handwritten and signed by Rabbi David Twersky and his brother, Rabbi Avraham Dov, added his signature - Jerusalem, 1941.  ”אברהם דוב ודוד בהה”ק מוהר”ר מנחם נחום זצוקללה”ה מראחמיסטראווקא” this is the name that ppears on the stationery, indicating the piety and humility of the brothers, Rabbi David and Rabbi Avraham of Rachmastrivka.  In 1926, the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Rachmastrivka immigrated to Jerusalem with his two sons, Rabbi David and Rabbi Avraham Dov. The Admor and his sons made a narrow escape from Communist Russia. In 1936, the Admor passed away jointly inherited the Admorut, both running the Chatzar Kodesh and even jointly signing letters on their official stationery. This is unexampled in the Chassidic world except for once more - when their grandsons, the Admor Rabbi Yisrael Mordechai of Rachmastrivka and his brother the Admor Rabbi Chai Yitzchak were both announced together as the Admorim of Rachmastrivka!!! The brothers sent their letter to Safed. It contains blessings for the addressee, his wife, mother, sister and brother-in-law: ”והננו לברכו ולבקש רחמים בעדו ובעד זוג'... שיואל נא ה' הטוב ויתן להם חיים טובים ובריאות נכונה ברו”ג ושפעת ברכה והצלחה בכל אשר המה עושים.. שנה טובה מברכת ומוצלחת מאושרת ומעוטרת בכל מילי דמיטב... לחלצם למרחב מכל מצוקותיהם...”. Enclosed is the original envelope with the addressee's name handwritten by the Admor Rabbi david and another response envelope with the Admorim's address.  [1] leaf. 16X20 cm. + 2 envelopes. Fold lines and stains.  *** The Admor Rabbi David ben Rabbi Menachem Nachum Twersky of Rachmastrivka (1872-1951), the son and successor of the Admor Rabbi Menachem Nachum. He was son-in-law of Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Heschel Twersky of Skvira and father of Admor Rabbi Yochanan Twersky. His great-grandson, the current Admor of Rachmastrivka, was named after him. He served as Admor in Jerusalem together with his brother Rabbi Avraham Dov: they ran joint Tisches, and official documents noted that the Chassidut was “led jointly by the Admorim”. His father said of him that he was a Lamdan and Chacham and Gutter Yid. He is buried in Sanhedriya cemetery, Jerusalem. The Admor Rabbi Avraham Dov of Rachmastrivka (1865-1945), son-in-law of Rabbi Ephraim Margaliyot of Motziv. He served as Admor alongside his brother Rabbi David in Jerusalem. His family remained in Russia. He is buried on the Mt. of Olives.
