Early Letter with an Abundance of Blessings Handwritten and Signed by the Admor the Author of the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz - Williamsburg, 1949 - Letter with many blessings for his relative's engagement - handwritten and signed by the Admor Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager author of Sefer Imrei Chaim - sent when he was staying in the house of his son the Admor of Vizhnitz Monsey, the Torat Mordechai, in Williamsburg, when he travelled to the USA for the first time to raise funds for the Shikkun Vizhnitz of Bnei Berak - Brooklyn, 1949.  The addressee, a leading Vizhnitz Chassid in Israel was a confidante of the Imrei Chaim in all matter concerning Beit Vizhnitz of Jerusalem. In his letter, The Omrei Chaim sends him warm and unique blessings for his son's engagement: ”לשמחת ועליזת נפשי... בקול מבשר שת”ל [שתודה לה'] באת בקשרי החתון עב”ג, מקרב לב עמוק אברך אותך בברכת מז”ט, יהא רעוא מן שמיא שיהי' בשטומ”צ, תזכה לבנות בית נאמן לד' ולתורתו, מתוך הרחבה גדולה ורב נחת, תורה וגדולה במקום אחד. ויתקדש שמו יתברך ע”י [על ידך]” At the end of his letter, the Imrei Chaim informs him about the possible immigration of the Chassid's father to Israel from Romania: ”ישנם סכוים שאבותיך יעזבו ארץ אדום בקרוב...”. Before his signature, the writes kindly in the Vizhnitzer style: ”ידודושו”ט [ידידו ודורש שלומו הטוב] באהבה עזה מצפה לשמחת נפשו והרמת קרנו במהרה בתוך כלל ישראל...” and his handwritten signaure.  Fine postcard with unique content, an abundance of blessings. Extremely rare! One in a thousand! 14X8 cm. Creases and minor stains.   T he Admor Rabbi Chaim Meir Hager (1888-1972) the son of the Admor Rabbi Yisrael the Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz, and son-in-law of the Admor Rabbi Zeev of Rachmastrivka. He received his Semicha from the Maharsham of Berezhany, was Rav in Vilchovitz (Romania) until the Holocaust, and after it, re-established the Chassidut in Israel, founded Kiryat Vizhnitz, and Vizhnitz institutions in Bnei Berak. He was a member of the Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah and a prominent leader of the Chareidi community in Israel.
