Fine Ornate Ketubah Signed by the Mekubal Rabbi Meir Abuhatzeira the Baba Meir - Erfoud Morocco, 1949 - Fine ornate Ketubah handwritten on paper, signed by the Meluban the Mekubal Rabbi Meir Abuhatzeira, the Baba Saki's eldest son, and with his stamp - Erfoud, 1950.  The Ketubah is from Tishrei 4, 1949, from a Morrocan village, for the bridegroom ”Rabbi Eliyahu ben Rabbi Avraham ben Attiya” and the bride ”Sarah bat Avraham ben Shitrit”. The document is signed by the witnesses Avraham Alesri and Avraham ben Tirosh.  On verso of the leaf, the list of Tenaim of this Ketubah. Written at their end: ”מקויימים אצלי חתי' [חתימת] הסופרים הנ”ל... and the handwritten signature of the Baba Meir: ע”ה מאיר אביחצירא”  and his stamp as Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek of Erfoud.  Approx. 34X21 cm. Stains. Fold lines. A professionally restored tear in the center *** The Admor Rabbi Meir Abuhatzeira (1917-1983) the eldest son of the Baba Sali, was known as the Baba Meir. Served as Rav in Morocco. Was known for his sacred and pure Avodat Hashem. In 1965 he immigrated to Israel, stettling in Ashdod. Talmidei Chachamim used to come to his home there, including rabbis and Rosh Yeshivas who came to consult with him and increase their Avodat Hashem. His sons are famous Admorim of the Abuhatzeira family: Elazar, Rabbi David Chai of Nahariya, Rabbi Refael and Rabbi Yekutiel of Ashdod.
