Bifkutad Yeshu'ah Verachamim! Kadosh and Awe-Inspiring The Prayers for Yamim Noraim from the Siddur of Rabbeinu Hakadosh Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov: Siddur Rabbi Asher the Section of Tefillat Yom Tov and Yamim Noraim - Lviv, 1787 - Prayers for the month of Elul, Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot from the Siddur of Sar Beit Hazohar Rabbeinu Hakadosh Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov. The third part of the second section of Siddur Rabbi Asher that had belonged to Rabbeinu Hakadosh of Ziditchov with first-rate glosses on the margins of the leave, with Shemot Kodesh and varied Kabbalistic and Chassidic additions. 54 pp. with glosses, some of them on the entire margins of the leaf! Pagination and Description of Thsi Section [81] leaves. (paginated: 100-180). 8° (19cm./approx. 7.5 inch).  In this section: Seder Rosh Chodesh Elul, prayers for Rosh Hashanah including Kavanot Teki'ot Shofar, Tashlich, Kaparit and the Prayers for Yom Kippur including Seder HaAvodah, prayers for Sukkot including Seder Hani'anu'im, Hoshanot and Hakafot, Seder Hadlakat Neirot Chanukkah and Seder Birkat Hamegillah for Purim. Bound in an impressive leather binding.  Moth perforations professionally restored with paper-filling including to the margins of the leaves. Stains and varied aging blemishes. Good overall condition. Some of the glosses are faded and hard to read. In several places, damage to text.  ______________________________ First-rate Chassidic treasure! Seder Tefillah Mikol Hashanah known as Siddur Rabbi Asher, which based on the information we have collected, had belonged to Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov - Sar Beit Hazohar. From him, it was passed on to the Tzaddikim of the Belz dynasty, apparently beginning with the Mitteler Admor Rabbi Yehoshua Rokeach and then to his successors, who greatly praised the virtue and sanctity of the Siddur.  On the margins of the leaves there are many Chassidic and Kabbalistic glosses referring to Rabbeinu Hakadosh the Chozeh of Lublin handwritten by his disicples: ”שמעתי מאדמו”ר הרה”צ בוצינא קדישא מוהררי”י מק' לובלין...” and more as specified below.  The Siddur ”Seder Tefillah Mikol Hashanah with Kavanot HaAri published by the Rabbinic Chassid and Mekubal Rabbi Asher, the son of the Rabbinic Chassid Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Margaliot...printed here in Lviv... at the Press of the Rabbinic Rabbi Yehuda Shlomo the son of the late Rabbinic Rabbi Naftali Hirtz, known forever as Rabbi Shlomo Yarush and now as Rabbi Shlomo Rappaport. In the year of וחנותי אשר אחון ו'רחמתי א'ת א'ש'ר' ארחם' [1787]”.  A revised edition of a Kabbalistic Siddur containing the Kavanot HaAri with many additions and corrections. In the foreword of the book, ”the editior's apology”, the publisher, Rabbi Asher Margaliot, writes that he thought of publishing this Siddur since:  ”כי יש שב”ר... אור שבעת הימים קודש הקדשים האלקי האר”י זצוק”ל ה”ה, אשר דבריו הקדושים נתנו לכתוב גרסאות מוחלפות...”. Rabbi Asher notes that his glosses are based on the books Etz Hachaim, Machberet Hakodesh and Pri Etz Chaim by Rabbeinu Chaim Vital, Sefer Hayichudim by the Ari and Siddur Rabbi Shabtai of Rashkov (which was then still a manuscript and was later printed in Koretz, 1794). Later, there is a ”Zot Lada'at” explaining that the glosses of Rabbi Asher himself appear in parentheses ”written on both sides in small roses and a semi-circle...”.  The Publisher Rabbi Asher Rabbi Asher Margaliot, the son of Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Margaliot of Mezibuzh, a prominent Mekubal of the sacred Kloiz of Brody, a leading disciple of his Rav the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Sanzer of Brod, as noted in Rabbi Asher's foreword to this Siddur:  ”היה לי אילן גדול לסמוך עליו מ”ו [מורי ורבי] הרב המאה”ג המפורסם המקובל האלקי מוהר”ר חיים צאנזר ז”ל מבראד, אשר גדולה שימושי ויצקי מים על ידו בפרט בלימוד החכמה הנוראה האמתית הזאת [תורת הקבלה]... רב חילו בהגהות אשר יודפסו בסדור הקדוש הזה... המתנצל והמתאבק בעפר רגלי חכמים וחסידים, אשר יחוד השם מעידים. הקטון אשר באא”מ הרבני המנוח מוהר”ר שלמה זלמן זללה”ה מרגליות ממעזיבז יע”א”. Approbations The Siddur contains approbations by contemporary Gedolei Torah and Chassidut:  ~ The Admor Rabbi Yissachar Dov Migeza Zvi of Zlotchov - one of the Tzaddikim of the Chassidic Movement of the third generation, author of Mevasser Tzeddek and Bat Eini.  ~ The rabbis of Brody and the sages of its Kloiz (as stated, where the publisher Rabbi Asher resided).  ~ The Admor Rabbi Avraham Moshe of Pshevorsk - one of the Tzaddikim of the Chassidic Movement of the fourth generation, a disciple of the Maggid and Rabbi Elimelech of Lizhensk.  ~ And more.  The Siddur of the Baal Shem Tov's Disciples Leading Chassidic rabbis, the Baal Shem Tov's disciples, valued this Siddur and made sure to pray from it. In the book Imrei Pinchas Hashalem (section I pp. 223-224) in the name of Rabbi Yaakov Shimshon, the son of Rabbi Pinchas of Koretz: על כן אין להתפלל כי אם בנוסח האריז”ל דפוס לבוב או בסידורו של רבי שבתי, ולא בנוסחאות האחרות שבסידורים החדשים”.
