All items of this auction that were given directly by the Rebbe were thoroughly checked by the auction house to determine who received them from the Rebbe. For most of them, we received additional evidence such as a photograph taken when the item was received and varied authenticity tests.
The recipients' names were obscured in most of the items, at the request of their owners, and will be revealed to the buyers. This is an official and prestigious document issued by the Miami Beach Municipality for the Rebbe's 122nd birthday. The document announces this day as the Education and Sharing Day, a tradition that began in 1978 by USA President Jimmy Carter and has ever since been adopted by USA Presidents, governors and mayors in the USA.
The proclamation describes the Rebbe's activity:
* His spritiual guidance and influence on USA Presidents and legislators.
* The Congressional Gold Medal given to the Rebbe.
* The Rebbe's educational legacy and call to give every child whatsoever proper education.
The proclamation in placed in an elegant dark-blue cardboard portfolio. Embossed on its front is the symbol of Miami Beach, printed on quality paper. The document is with the printed original handwritten signature of the mayor, Steven Meiner. Alongside the signature, the official embossed silver stamp of the municipality.

Mayor Steven Meiner, the Mayor of Miami Beach and a former senior SEC attorney. Meiner is an observant Jew who identifies deeply with the Orthodox community and traditional values. Meiner maintains a warm and close relationship with the Chabad Shluchim in Miami, regularly participating in Chassidic events and working to promote the Rebbe's educational legacy. For him, signing the Education Day proclamation is not merely a formal protocol, but a personal expression of his long-standing commitment to the values of "spreading the wellsprings" (Hafatzat HaMayanot) and Jewish education within the city.
