Fascinating and Important Letter Written on the Birthday of the Admor the Rashab with the Rebbe's Request to Purchase a Letter of a Sefer Torah - Cheshvan 20, 1981 - Letter bythe Rebbe, typewritten on official stationery from Cheshvan 20, 1981.  The Rebbe writes first about the importance of the day, the birthday of the Admor the Rashab, noting that Tuesday, in addition to being the day of the double ”Ki Tov”, was the day of Rosh Hashanah and of Kislev 19 ”Rosh Hashanah of Torat HaChassidut and its ways”.  The Rebbe guides the addressee with varied instruction regaring Torah and prayer, blessing him ותתקבל התפילה ותתקיים שיזמין השם ”לפניו”, בטוב נראה ונגלה כל המצטרך לו בכלל... עוד טרם כילה לדבר...”. The Rebbe writes that each and every one of our brothers Bnei Yisrael should include himself in the Jewish People by purchasing a letter of one of the Sifrei Torah that are being written now:  ”יכלול עצמו בכלל ישראל ובאופן אמתי ונצחי, ע”י קנית אות באחת הס”ת [=הספרי תורה] הנכתבים עתה...”. The ends with warm blessings for spiritual and material light and good to all Bnei Yisrael and complete Geulah: ”אשר ע”י היותנו כולנו כאחד יברכנו אבינו באור פניו, אשר לכל בנ”י [=בני ישראל] יהי' אור במושבותם, אור וטוב בכל המצטרך בגשם וברוח גם יחד, ובקרוב ממש יקויים היעוד: יאר השם אלקי הצבאות פניו אלינו ונושעה, בגאולה האמתית והשלימה והנצחית שאין אחרי' גלות, ע”י משיח צדקנו”.
