Haggadah shel Pesach with Copper-Engraved Illustrations and a Map of Eretz Yisrael - Amsterdam, 1712 - Seder Haggadah shel Pesach, ”with a fine commentary and fine illustrations of the miracles performed by Hashem for our forefathers and the travels through the desert... and the form of the Temple... copper-engraved by an artist...”/ The second edition of the famed Amsterdam Haggadah from 1695 (see Moreshet auction #83 lot 14). Rabbi Shlomo Proops Press, Amsterdam - 1712. Yaari 73; Otzar Hahaggadot 120. Two title pages, the first copper-engraved. [1], 31 leaves. [1] folding plate with the map - only a third of the right side of this map is original. The missing part was complete with a professional photocopy and restoration. The book was restored leaf by leaf, affecting the text in many places. Restored moth perforations. Stains. Scuffed leather binding. Fair overall condition.  Ashkenazic and Sephardic version, like that of the Amsterdam 1695 Haggadah. With elucidations and commentaries by the Abarbanel and , ore. The Dinim are in Ashkenazit, in Tzur letters, and in Ladino. Ashkenazic translation in Tzur letters of the Piyyutim Adir Huh, Echad Mi Yodea and Chad Gadya. About the illustrations, see: B.
