Special Gift Set of Three Facsimiles of Haggadahs Represnting Milestones of the Art of Haggadah Printing - Prague 1527, Offenbach 1722 and Trieste 1864 - Elegant gift set of three ancient Passover Haggadahs: three elegant facsimiles of three Haggadahs, each one representing a special aspect in the history of the art of Haggadah printing - Dfus Hamakor Jerusalem, 1973 - copy 30 of an edition of 1000 copies only.  ~ The Passover Haggadah - Prague, 1527 - one of the most well-knonw Haggadahs and the first that was printed with many illustrations throughout -  novelty: this is the Haggadah in which alongside the passage of ”Maror Zeh”, the following inscription appears with a matching illustration (freely translated from Hebrew): ”There is a custom in the world that the husband points at his wofe since it is said that a bad wife is bitter than death...”/ ~ The Passover Haggadah - with the Avodat Hagefen commentary - Offenbach, 1722 - this Haggadah was famed for its art and had a crucial impact on the development of Hebrew printing due to its bold attempt to reconstruct the famed copper-engraved illustrations by using the traditional printing technique of artistic woodcuts.  ~ Passover Haggadah with illustrations - published by Rabbi Avraham Chai Morfurgo - Yonah Cohen Press - Trieste, 1864 - this is the only Haggadah among the early Haggadot with illustrations by the renowned artist K. Kirschmeyer produced by lithography - the illustrations are on almost all pages of the Haggadah and their style is titally different from that of the famed Amsterdam engravings.  The Haggadahs are placed in an elegant hard case.
