Rare! Important edition of the Zevach Pesach Haggadah by Rabbeinu the Abarbanel - Riva di Trento, 1561 - Incomplete Copy - Haggadah shel Pesach, ”with a commentary by the sage Don Yitzchak Abarbanel, known as Zevach Pesach”. With an additional commentary at its beginning by the publisher Rabbi Yaakov  Marcaria Harofeh - Christofle Press - Riva di Trento - 1561. Yaari 19; Otzar Hahaggadot 22.  Added for the first time in this rare edition is a commentary by Rabbi Yaakov Marcaria Harofeh, a famed contemporary publisher who edited and published many books by the Rishonim. His commentary appears at the beginning of the Haggadah, as stated on the title page: ”ונוסף עליו כי תקראנה / טעם וסוד ארבע כוסות / וטעם פסח מצה ומרור”. Incmplete copy: Originally, [34] leaves. Four leaves at the beginning of the Haggadah including the title page were completed with a photocopy as well as one leaf at its end.  Fine leather binding. Moth damage. Stains. Mold stains. Tears and taping - some of the affecting the text. Fair-poor overall condition.
