Collection of [5] Unique Haggadahs - Morocco-Baghdad, 1903-1943 - Collection of five important Haggadahs printed in the East, with dedications , special illustrations, important approbations, unique prints and a Piyyut by the Ben Ish Chai published in his lifetime, apparently for the first time in this Haggadah! Baghdad, Mogador, Casablanca, 1903-1943.  1. Haggadah shel Pesach, with the Ben Meir elucidation . Section II, Hilchot Pesach. Mogador, Shlomo Chadida Press, 1925. First edition.  The only book printed in Mogador! With the Aravit prayer for Pesach, Haggadah shel Pesach with an Arabic translation, Dinei Pesach in Arabic, Shir Hashirim and three Piyyutim, by Meir Uzanchot.  Approbations by the rabbis of Mogador.  (The entire book on the Passover Haggadah; it is titled Section II since it the second book by the author, the first one being a book on HIlchot Shabbat that was published in Jerusalem in 1913).  At the beginning of the the section of Dinei Pesach, an ownership signature in Oriental script.  Otzar Hahaggadot 2994.  95 leaves. Approx. 17 cm.  Good condiiton. Some stains. Ancient binding in good condition.  2. Haggadah shel Pesach: Hagada de Pessah, hebreu-francais illustree.  Published by Yosef Lugasi, Casablanca, 1940s.  Cover title with an illustration of Bedikat Chametz followed by another title page without an illustration and without the imprint.  With the Piyyut Ki Loh Na'eh.  Hebrew and French on facing pages.  In the Hebrew section, the Seder instructions are in Arabic in Hebrew letters. Birkat Hamazon is not translated.  With three illustrations by J. Beuzor.  Yaari 2583; Otzar Hahaggadot 3838.  [2[, 22,]1], 23-30 leaves. Approx. 17 cm.  Good condition. Aging stains. Some tears, small. Cover title.  3. Sefer She'ar Yerakot by David Asbag. Casablanca, 1943.  Haggadah shel Pesach with a Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic commentary by Rabbi David Asbag.  With Aravit prayer for Passover.  Approbations by the leading rabbis of Arabt.  Portrait picture of the author.  Yaari 2301; Otzar Hahaggadot 2914.  [1], 4, 49 leaves. Approx. 24 cm.  Good condition. Aging stains. Some moth perforations. Ancient binding in good condition.  4. Sefer She'ar Yerakot by David Asbag. Casablanca, 1943. Copy with the author's dedication.  Haggadah shel Pesach with a Hebrew and Judeo-Arabic commentary by Rabbi David Asbag. With Aravit prayer for Passover. Approbations by the leading rabbis of Arabt. Portrait picture of the author. Yaari 2301; Otzar Hahaggadot 2914. [1], 4, 49 leaves. Approx. 24 cm. The portrait picture is missing.  Good condition. Aging stains. Some tears. Ancient binding in good condition.  5. Seder Haggadah shel Pesach. Printed with large Hebrew fonts and with Arabic. Dinei Bi'ur Chametz and the Seder in Arabic. Ezra Dangor Press, Baghdad, 1908.  Leaf 35, 2-36: Piyyutim: Melech Goel Umoshi'a el Na'aratz Besod Kedoshim.  Printed on the last page, apparently for the first time in a Passover Haggadah (!) , is the famed Piyyut in Arabic by the Ben Ish Chai: ”אסדר שבחא. לאלה כל רוחא. די עבד רווחא. לבנין קדישין”. In most copies, printed beneath the word ”Baghdad” is the line:  ”ברכצת מעארף אל גלילה”. The Bibliography of the Hebrew Book notes that they have seen copies without these words .
