Kimcha DePischa - Letter with Many Blessings Handwritten by the Mekubal Rabbi Yosef Leib Sussman - 1972 - Letter handwritten by the J erusalem Mekubal Rabbi Yosef Leib Sussman , sent to the Gaon Rabbi She'ar Yashuv Hacohen - the future Chief Rabbi of haifa - when he served as the president of the Harry Fischel Institute. In his letter, the Jerusalem Tzaddik asks for donations for the poor of Jerusalem as Kimcha DePischa . Jerusalem, Nissan 4, 1972.  The letter contains many blessings, including ”יתברך בכל טוב ככל משאלות לבבו לטובה, ויזכה יחד עם כלל ישראל… לקבל פני משיח”. Since the addressee is a pedigreed Cohen,   ”שדעתו יפה” , the writer adds a special blessing: ”יזכה לכהן פאר בעבודת בית א'[לוקים]”. Postcard written on both sides. 9X14 cm.  Very good condiiton. Filing perforations.  The Mekubal Rabbi Yosef Leib Sussman (1923-2000) one of the leading Mekubalim and Tzaddikim of Jerusalem. Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook was his Sandak in his Brit and Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld was the Mohel.  Studied at the Etz Chaim and Beit Zevul Yeshivas. When he studied in the Etz Chaim yeshiva, he wrote Halachic articles. At the same time, he also studied Kabbalah at the Sha'ar Hashamayim Yeshiva of Mekubalim. Later, he delivered lessons there.  Leading Admorim corresponded with him and sent him Kvitlech on difficult matters. Many used to come to the Western Wall on midnight to hear his tearful Tikkun Chatzot . Often, he was chosen as the Shli'ach Tzibur of prayer meetings and Birkat Cohanim events beside the Western Wall.  His funeral was attended by multitudes: members of the old Yishuv, Sephardic Talmidei Chachamim and Mekubalim, students of the Merkaz Harav Yeshiva and more, reflecting his uniting fiure .  Authored the books Mibchirei Tzaddikaya, Ushpizin Ila'in.
