One of the First Haggadot that were Published in Djerba: Kanfei Shachar - Djerba, 1917 - Sefer Kanfei Shachar, Haggadah shel Pesach , [by Rabbi] Shmuel ben Rabbi Avraham Tieb... who was born in Tunis... and now lives here... Djerba: Hatziyoni Press of David Idan, 1917.  With an Arabic translation in Hebrew letters.  Includes the Seder Kiddush per the custom of Yemen and Djerba.  The revised Piyyut Chad Gadya (different from the usual version).  Yaari 1877; Otzar Hahaggadot 2668.  24; 88; 38 leaves. Approx. 18 cm.  Good condition. Aging stains. Some moth perforations and damage. The last leaf is partly detached. Ancient binding in good condiiton.  Bound with Katab Chasdei Hashem, commentary on the Passover Haggadah , without the text, in Arabic in Hebrew letters. Djerba: Hatziyoni Press of David Idan, 1917.  The version of the title page: ”ישתמל עלא כ''צאיל ופצ''איל אלמולא סובחאנהו פי קדים אלזמאן חין כוננא תחת ג'ל אלעבודייא ענד פרעון אלמלעון” [Sefer Chasdei Hashem, includes the deeds and charity of Hashem Yitbarach in ancient times when we were bound by the chains of bondage under the cursed Pharaoh... and I have translated it into the Berber-Arabic tongue, to which our brothers residing in the Tunisian homeland are accustomed].  Yaari 1876; Otzar Hahaggadot 2667. 38 leaves.
