Single Edition that was Printed in the Midst of the Holocaust: Haggadah shel Pesach Tov Dvarcha by Rabbi Shaul Brach of Kashoi - First Edition Munkatch, 1940 - Sefer Tov Dvarcha, on the Passover haggadah, by the Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach Av Beit Din of Kashoi, one of the leading sages of Hungary. Printed in the center of the leaves is the vowelized version of the Haggadah surrounded by teh author's commentary. Graphia Press, Munkatch, 1940.  This is a hiistorical Haggadah, both from a Chassidic-Rabbinic perspective and the all-Jewish one.  * The Haggadah is the first and only edition from the writings of a leading Hungarian sage known by his disicples as Shauil Bechir Hashem.  It was printed about a month after the author's passing.  * Printed at the beginning of the book are personal touching documents: last will for the Chevra Kaddisha and the version of the author's tombstone, written by him.  * The Haggadah was printed in Nissan 1940, in the midst of the Holocaust. A wonderous fact is that in the lengthy foreword, spreading over many pages, there is no mention - not even implied - to the disaster in Europe and the destruction of European Jewry.  Yaari 2151; 2280; Otzar Hahaggadot 3717.  46 leaves. 25 cm. Thick quality paper.  Good condition. No wine stains. Not bound.  The Gaon Rabbi Shaul Brach (1865-1940) was a Hungarian Posek and Av Beit Din of Magendorf, Kruly, and Kashoi. He was known as a leading figure in the fight against secularization and Zionism, saying: “Anyone who believes in Torat Moshe must distance himself from the tents of the Zionists and Mizrachim and avoid eating and drinking with them, as with non-Jews, and they ought to be separated from Kahal Yisrael.” He was close to Admorim of Siget and Bobov. He authored many works including Givat Shaul, Shaul Bechir Hashem, and more.
