Magical Haggadah for Childen - Spectacular Moving Pictures - First Edition of This Haggadah - London, 1933 - The Children's Haggadah, edited by A.M. First ediiton of this Haggadah.   This is an extraordinary innovation from nearly 90 years ago: vibrant, colorful illustrations that move as if they are alive, allowing children to ”step into” the story of the Exodus and the Seder experience in an interactive and captivating way. Some of the illustrations were specifically designed to be manipulated and felt through motion - creating an almost magical experience for children and adults alike. Hebrew and English on facing pages, with parallel pagination of the leaves. At the beginning of the book, an English foreword by the translators followed by Seder Bedilat Chametz and Bi'ur Chametz.  The artistry and typography of this Haggadah are particularly impressive: the title is printed in red ink, many initial are vibrantly colored and the illustrations themselves - vivid and full of movement - add a unique charm to this Haggadah.  Added at the end of the book is sheet music for the entire Seder by Arno Nadel, J. Saphirstein and Mina Nirnstein. Undoubtedly, this is a groundbreaking and artistic Haggadah, combining education, visual creativity, and a sense of wonder for children and the entire family. Although this Haggadah was printed generations ago, during an era when products were far more durable and of higher quality than those of today, most surviving copies are blemished. The figures often fail to move properly, and the illustrations, due to their complexity and uniqueness, have suffered damage over the years, particularly given that the Haggadah was intended for use by children. In contrast, this copy has been preserved in excellent condition. The thick, quality pages remain intact, and their beauty is flawless - free of stains and tears.
