Especially Rare Edition: Magical Haggadah for Children - with Moving Pictures - Jerusalem, 1936 - Passover Haggadah for children, edited by Dr. A.M Silbermann, with color illustrations by Erwin Singer, with sheet music for the entire Seder. Published by Reuven Mas, Jerusalem, 1936.  This is an extraordinary innovation from nearly 90 years ago: vibrant, colorful illustrations that move as if they are alive, allowing children to ”step into” the story of the Exodus and the Seder experience in an interactive and captivating way. Some of the illustrations were specifically designed to be manipulated and felt through motion - creating an almost magical experience for children and adults alike. This edition is a rare collector's edition, printed in Jerusalem entirely in Hebrew. The Haggadah was printed in Jerusalem only twice: in 1933 and 1936. Both editions are considered extremely rare and are in the Rare Book Collection of the National Library. Regarding the rarer 1936 edition - this one  - the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book notes: ”We have not seen this book”! The artistry and typography of this Haggadah are particularly impressive: the title is printed in red ink, many initial are vibrantly colored and the illustrations themselves - vivid and full of movement - add a unique charm to this Haggadah.  Added at the end of the book is sheet music for the entire Seder by Arno Nadel, J. Saphirstein and Mina Nirnstein.  Undoubtedly, this is a groundbreaking and artistic Haggadah, combining education, visual creativity, and a sense of wonder for children and the entire family. Due to its unique nature, this Haggadah had many editions in different countries. In most cases, it was published with a translation to the local language on facing pages. Blemishes to two of the moving pictures; in one of them, the moving part is missing.
