Arba Kushiyot in Judeo-Hebrew: Manuscript of the Passover Haggadah - yemen, ca. 19th Century - Yemenite manuscript containing the ”Seder Haggadah Leil Pesach”. Clear rural script on thick paper. Between the lines there are several instructions and Halachot that were added in later script. Yemen, ca. the 19th century.  the entire Haggadah was written in Hebrew. It is truly remarkable to see how Passover Haggadahst from diverse communities, different countriess, and even separate continents - which had no contact with one another for centuries -preserve the exact same text. The words of the Haggadah remain identical, whether in this manuscript or in printed editions from the most distant lands. The only part containing a translation to the local language - Arabic in Hebrw letters - is the part of Arba Kushiyot, which was meant for young children, who did not know Hebrew.  Approx. [54] written pp. 17X12 cm. Thick paper. The end is missing.  Fair-good condition. Aging stains. Tears along the edges of the first [3] leaves. Not bound.
