Handwritten Signature of the Wonder-Worker Rabbi AShlomo Zalman Bloch of Jerusalem on a Coupon for Passover - Jerusalem, 1933 - Coupon for Passover of the Vaad Haklali Knesset Yisrael, Kupat Rabbi Meir Baal Hanes, for 150 Mil, from Nissan 13, 1933. With the handwritten signature of the famed Tzaddik Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Bloch.  14X9.5 cm.  Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Bloch (1886-1976) a Lithuanian Rav and Kabbalist, one of the prominent figures of the Mussar Movement of the generation between the two World Wars and after the Holocaust. Was born in Baranovich and studied at the Novhardok Yeshiva with the Saba and at the Radin Yeshiva with the Chafetz Chaim, who studied Chavruta with him. Immigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1927 and settled in Jerusalem, where he was renowned as a wonder-worker. Passed away at the age of 90 and was buried on the Mount of Olives. Had no children.
