Reamnants of Matzah and Afikoman by the Admor of Skvira - Remnants of Matzah and Afikoman from Leil Haseder of the Admor of Skvira, Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Twersky, as given in the 1960s to an important Rav who was staying at the time at the Chatzar Hakodesh. The remnants were originally wrapped in a small paper envelope on which the recipient handwrote: ”מצה ואפיקומן סקווירא” and its edges were closed. The item includes several pieces of the Matzah (without the paper envelope). Confirmation of the Auction House with the recipient's name will be given to the purchaser. מ'כל צ'רה ה'צילנו - the initials of מצה The Segulah of remnants of Matzat Mitzvah and Afikoman was mentioned by many leading rabbis of previous generatyions, the earliset of these being the Zohat Hakadosh which states that Matzah can protect against Mezikim like the Mezuzah. Other sources refer to the Segulah of keeping remnants of Matzah and Afikoman and carry them with you as a Segulah against fire, stormy seas, robbers and even a headache.
