Touching Letter by Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Brandwein Migeza Stratin and the In-Law of the Admor of Chernobyl - ומוכרח אני לקצר במקום שאמרו להאריך  - touching letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Brandwein Migeza Stratin - Jerusalem, ca. 1960s.  Rabbeniu addresses his letter to an enterprise aiding refugee rabbis. He worte it from his sickbed, describing his weakness: ”זה ששה שבועות שאני חולה וכותב המכתב ע”י מטתי.. והחלישות אין לשער....ולמען הרחמים לבא לעזרתי הכל מה דאפשר ויקנה עולמו בשעה אחת ובקושי גדול אני כותב ומוכרח אני לקצר במקום שאמרו להאריך... ובזכות זה יושעו בכל מיני ישועות...”. At the end of the letter, Rabbeinu writes a blessing for Passover: ”המעתיר והמברך אתכם בחג כשר ושמח, ומצפה לרחמי שמים ולבש”ט...”.  With his handwritten signatures.  Official stationery with Rabbeinu's pedigree.  22X28 cm.  Filing perforations. Fold lines. Good condiiton.  The Mekubal Rabbi Yaakov Mordechai Brandwein (1895-1955) the son of Rabbi Yisrael Brandwein and grandson of Rabbi Pinchas Brandwein of Brezan-Stratin. The in-law of the Admor Rabbi Meshulam Sussia of Chernobyl, the father of the Admor of Chernobyl Shlita. A leading disciple of the Admor Baal Hasulam. Was buried near the grave of his Rav.
