Rare! The Lubavitcher Rebbe's Blessing for Passover with an Addition Handwritten by the Rebbe Signed by the Secretary ”Due to the Sanctity of the Moed” - Nissan 17, 1957 - Letter by the Lubavitcher Rebbe, typewritten on official stationery, from Chol Hamoed Pesach, with an addition handwritten by the Rebbe.  Rare letter, both because it was written on Chol Hamoed and because it contains an addition handwritten by the Rebbe! The letter is addressed to one of the Admorim in Israel - who was connected to the Rebbe, their correspondence having been published many times. The Rebbe's appreciation of the Admor is indicated, wmong others, by the superlatives he uses to describe in him in Igrot Kodesh - and in this letter as well.  The Rebbe blesses the addressee with blessings for Passover:  ”...וברך לקחתי ואשיבנו, אשר ימי חג המצות זמן חירותינו שנמצאים אנו בו, ימשיך חירות אמיתית, חירות מדאגות בגשם ומדאגות ברוח מכל דבר המעכב עבודת ה' בשמחה ובטוב לבב. ולהמשיך מחירות ושמחה זו בימי כל השנה כולה. ובפרט שעבודת השם, כמצווה עלינו בתורתנו תורת חיים, הרי היא בכל עניני האדם ובמשך כל היום וכל הלילה, וכמו שנאמר בכל דרכיך דעהו”. Then, there is an addition handwritten by the Rebbe  in square script (apparently due to the sanctity of the Moed): ”ויעוין רפ”ה מח”פ להרמב”ם”. Due to the sanctity of the Moed, the letter is signed by the secretary, as he writes: ”בברכת החג, מפני קדושת המועד לא בא כ”ק אדמו”ר שליט”א בעצמו על החתום והנני חותם בשמו, א. קווינט, המזכיר”.   Stains.
