Machzor Hadrat Kodesh for All Year Round Ashkenaz Version Section I - Sulzbach, 1734 Large Format - Seder Hamachzor Section I, Ashkenaz version. Sulzbach, 1734. The Press of Meshulam Zalman ben Aharon [Frankel]. [1], 58, [8], 192-238, 12 leaves.  This Machzor was known as Machzor Hadrat Kodesh after the work appearing at its end.  Title page with an impressive wood-engraved illustration of the figures of Moshe and Aharon, Yaakov's Dream, Migdal Bavel, Noah's Ark and addiitonal biblical motifs. Wood-engraved illustrations for the Piyyutim of Passovers and illustrated initials.  Handwritten notation on the title page: ”זה מחזור שייך למי הקטן מרדכי בן כ”ה אהרן הירץ מווינצינהיים” [This Machzor belongs to the young Mordechai ben Aharon Hirtz of Wintzenheim].  The title page is detached and was apparently completed from another copy. Possibly, the copy itself is of an edition from another year and not from the year appearing on the title page.  Binding with an old leather spine, with varied blemishes. Moth perforations and damage Some tears and taping. Several detached leaves. Good-fair overall conditon.
