Couple of Early Mussar Books - the Personal Copies of the Mashgi'ach of the Slabodka Yeshiva, the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Moshe Akiva Tucazinsky - Two Mussar and Hashkafah books, early foundational books of the Jewish Bookcase. The personal copies of the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Moshe Akiva Tucazinsky - one of the leading Baalei Mussar in Lithuania before the Holocaust and the Mashgi'ach of the Mekor Chaim Yeshiva of Jerusalem and then of the Slabodka Yeshiva of Bnei Berak. For dozens of years, he guided thousands of students, who absorbed Orchot Chaim, Darkei Mussar and Yirat Shamayim from him.  1. Sefer Hakuzari by Rabbi Yehuda Halevi, with Muchtav Rabbi Chisdai and Teshuvat Yosef Hamelech, with comments and elucidations. Berlin, 1930. 147 pp. 13 cm.  On the front guard leaf, the personal stamp of the Mashgi'ach: ”הרב משה טיקוצינסקי, ר”מ ומנהל רוחני”. 2. Bechinat Olam, by Rabbi Yedaya Hapnini. Vowelized, with an elucidation by Chacham David Atenzuser and with Bakashat Hamemin. Berlin, 1887. 43 leaves. 13 cm.  On the front guard leaf, the personal stamp of the Mashgi'ach: ”הרב משה טיקוצינסקי, ר”מ ומנהל רוחני” and beneath it, the handwritten words: ”ישיבת מקור חיים” . Marks of usage. Some moth perforations. Original bindings. Good overall condition.  The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Akiva Tucazinsky (1910-1988) served as the Mashgiach and spiritual manager of the Slabodka Yeshiva of Bnei Berak and previously, the spiritual manager of the Mekor Chaim Yeshiva of Jerusalem. Was one of those who shaped the educational doctrine of the Slabodka Yeshiva and was close to the Saba of Slabodka, Rabbi Natan Zvi Finkel. During the 1929 Riots, he was wounded from an axe blow to his head yet survived. His funeral in 1988 was attented by thousands.
