An extremely rare Americana item! of one of the first rabbis in the USA. To the best of our knowledge, autographs by Rabbeinu are extremely rare! An autograph by him was auctioned only once in the past.  [8], 72 leaves.  Detached binding. Wear to several of the first leaves. The first leaves are detached. Good condition.  *** ”Not a day passed without him writing Chidushei Torah” The Gaon Rabbi Beinush Zalkind Rabiner  (d. 1913) the son of Rabbi Dober Rabiner of Boisk, one of the first rabbis in the USA and one of the founders of the Union of Rabbis of the USA. Was a student of the Volozhin Yehiva and a disicple of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan in Kovna, who respected and honored him as one of Gedolei Yisrael.  Seeveral years after his marriage, he immigrated to the USA, where he was recognized as a Rav of stature and as an important Posek. Hence, crucial questions about Hittin and Heiter Agunah were sent to him from all over the USA. Later, he was appointed by Rabbi Yaakov Yosef as Rosh Av Beit Din of his Beit Din.
